Volga-Dnepr Group, the group of international air cargo carriers with 30+ years of profound expertise in transporting various types of cargo, has strengthened its Global Healthcare Team to support its customers worldwide with comprehensive logistics solutions for their pharmaceutical products.
The team will be led by Yulia Celetaria, Healthcare Director who will be in charge of smooth operations of the Group, alignment of dedicated healthcare and life-saving services with the usage of the Group’s unique freighter fleet, network connections through scheduled flights and charter options. While previously working for AirBridgeCargo Airlines, where she started her professional journey back in 2005, Yulia has been able to upscale her knowledge, expertise and gain the right experience necessary to meet the 2020 logistics challenge of the whole pharmaceutical industry.
The team, consisting of regional experts with in-depth market knowledge, will work closely with all the stakeholders, starting from pharmaceutical manufacturers, freight forwarders, road feeder providers up to ground handling agents, last-mile delivery companies and final consignee, as well as global healthcare organizations and local regulators.
With the top priority being the organization of efficient and safe transportation of COVID-19 vaccines, the Group has also set a dedicated Vaccine Task Force, which will be fronted by Casper Pan, Head of Healthcare APAC, who has been part of Volga-Dnepr Group for a long time, possesses the unique knowledge and is well-experienced in pharmaceutical logistics. The complete team follows the global vaccine development trends and implements the necessary changes to the existing processes to provide high-quality services and guarantee vaccine integrity.

For the first 9 months of 2020, the Group has managed to triple its healthcare and humanitarian volumes surpassing the point of over 55,000 tonnes, delivering essential cargo amid the pandemic and offering dedicated logistics solutions for a wide range of shipments – PPE, medical equipment, temperature-sensitive medical products, sophisticated and delicate vaccines, oversized medical and disinfecting vehicles and others.
