The international project logistics specialist Trans Global Projects (TGP) has opened a new office in Istanbul, Turkey, at the beginning of March 2018.

The latest addition to TGP's global network operates as Trans Global Proje Lojistik Limited Sirketi / Trans Global Projects Limited, Turkey. It offers the entire portfolio of TGP's services, which comprise project logistics management, ship chartering, aviation logistics, supply chain management, logistics consultancy and procurement.

The office will be managed by Mr. Murat Aksu, an established business specialist who brings a wealth of experience and expertise, especially in shipping and chartering.

With its new location in Turkey, TGP ensures a vital bridge in its global network between its offices in Europe and the Middle East/Central Asian region.

Being a large, thriving economy and geographically strategic, Turkey is an important market for the project logistics industry with numerous projects ongoing or planned. At the same time, Turkish manufacturers supply materials and equipment to construction projects worldwide, while many Turkish EPC contractors execute projects throughout the world. Furthermore, Turkey is a natural transit route for project cargo moving into Iraq, Iran and other countries surrounding the Caspian Sea.

Says Murat Aksu, Managing Director TGP Turkey: "I am delighted to be on board with the TGP group of companies. TGP Turkey features an experienced team of industry professionals and together we will offer Turkish and international clients a project forwarding service into, from and through Turkey.“

Adds Colin Charnock, TGP Group CEO: "I am very happy to welcome Murat to our growing family of companies and wish him every success as Managing Director of TGP Turkey. With this latest addition to TGP's global network we have increased our presence in one of our key regions of the world and I am looking forward to further extending our network in the near future."
