Tera Shipping, a Project Cargo Network member from Malaysia, reports update of a recent movement they executed within the oil & gas industry.
The project team picked up the cargo from their client's location, featuring nine packages with a total weight of 643 MT and a volume of 3,614 cbm.
The largest piece of cargo was measured at 18.5 (L) x 15.0 (W) x 12.7 (H) meters and weighed 605 tonnes. This was specially transported using an SPMT to a private jetty nearby before being loaded onto a barge.
It was then carried by barge to the nearest port at Port Klang West to be loaded with a double banking operation onto an HLV that Tera's team chartered.
The hefty unit was secured on deck, fastened and set sail to its destination: Sungdong Shipyard in Korea.
