Beluga Projects Logistics, member to the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Russia, completed the first stage of a complex overhaul and repair project at the Magnitogorsk Metal Work plant. This project included to the bulit-in of new presses in the steel production line, without interruting the production process. The Gipromez Institute and JSC Prokatmontazh developed the new technology used, which saved a substantial time and financial recourses to the customer. The first stage in this project was successfully completed and the presses got installed onto a temporary foundation. Once the main foundation is ready from ongoing construction underneath the steel production line, the new presses wil be moved fully assembled and installed on its foundation. This is the first time such new technology is being used in Russia.
