Spedag Interfreight, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Uganda, achieved ISO 37001:2016 Anti Bribery Management System.
With the Spedag Interfreight corporate strategy of promoting ethical, fair trading and social responsibilities, while providing logistics solutions to the various stakeholders, the top management of the company decided in January 2019 that Spedag Interfreight should get accredited with ISO 37001:2016.
On 31st July 2019 Spedag Interfreight Uganda was certified with the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-bribery management system being the first in East Africa and the third in Africa. A subsequent roll out in all other countries in Africa with Spedag Interfreight presence is scheduled to take place until the middle of 2020.
With the above achievements Spedag Interfreight will be able to achieve its corporate strategy of promoting ethical trading, through promoting a culture of zero tolerance towards bribery and promoting trust among the various stake holders like clients, suppliers and business associates among others in its day to today operations.
