Possesses broad experience delivering complex construction programs for the U.S. Department of Defense and at major mega hub international airports across the U.S.
Alex Ralli has been named aviation federal lead and west coast aviation principal by WSP USA, a leading engineering and professional services consultancy.
In his leadership role, Ralli is responsible for the strategic long-term growth of the business within the target markets, managing client relations and civic engagement activities, leading key project pursuits and overseeing successful execution and completion of work across all aviation disciplines — planning, design, strategic consulting and program and construction management.
“The breadth of Alex’s experience is impressive, from airside, landside and terminal planning, and design, to completion of major multidiscipline projects under every alternative delivery method,” said Theodore Gargagliano, national aviation market sector lead for WSP. “He has worked on some of the most significant and important programs at the largest airports across the country, and he brings us a wealth of knowledge.”
Ralli’s 28-year career has focused on full life-cycle planning and execution of mission critical programs for commercial and federal aviation, and he has deep experience successfully coordinating with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defence and Department of State. He brings a valuable public sector perspective having worked as a Foreign Service Officer and serving in the United States Marine Corps.
His recent experience includes the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport reconstruction; Boston Logan International Airport enhancements; Los Angeles International Airport; LaGuardia Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport redevelopment program.
Ralli earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and business management from AMU/University of California, and is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Airport Executives, Airport Consultants Council, Airports Council International, North America, Conference of Minority Transportation Officials and Board Member of the National Safe Skies Alliance, Inc.
