Saturday 27 August marks the 10th year of managing the transportation of overdimensional heavy-lift cargo for the Project Professionals Group. PPG founder and general manager Kevin Stephens said since forming the network it had attracted an experienced and trusted group of project forwarders from around the world. “Managing high value project cargos is a specialized industry and I am very proud of the reputation our members have in meeting the needs of their clients,” Mr Stephens said. “PPG has very loyal members and sponsors and I would like to thank them all for their support over the past 10 years.” Mr Stephens said the network was also very appreciative of the guidance of the PPG Advisory Board chaired by Susan St Germain of TransProject LLC, USA. To celebrate the 10-year milestone, PPG will hold its annual conference in Australia where the organization was first formed. Melbourne will be the host city from 6-8 September, 2017. Project forwarders registering to attend the PPG Project Forwarding Certificate from 26-27 September in Houston during the Breakbulk Americas education program receive a one-day pass into the Breakbulk Americas exhibition hall and invitation to the opening reception. The course now has a total of 450 graduates from 12 countries and this will be the seventh consecutive education program held in conjunction with the Breakbulk Americas Conference and Exhibition. Further information about the course, including testimonials is available at Project Professionals Group.
