Overdimensional logistics network, Project Professionals Group’s 11th annual conference will be held in Portland, Oregon, USA, from 26-28 September next year (2018). PPG general manager Kevin Stephens said the Port of Portland and the Port of Vancouver USA were the joint major sponsors for the event. “The Port of Portland and the Port of Vancouver USA are both dynamic organisations and have put forward an excellent conference proposal and we thank them for their support and hospitality,” Mr Stephens said, Mr Stephens said the 2018 conference dates had also been selected to also provide PPG members with the opportunity to visit the Breakbulk Americas conference and exhibition in Houston (2–4 October 2018), ensuring it was cost-effective to attend both events.  Mr Stephens said with the recommendation of the Port of Portland and Port of Vancouver USA the award-winning Benson Hotel had been selected as the conference venue with very attractive accommodation rates for members and guests.
