Odfjell Terminals US (OTUS) announces the successful completion of the construction and commissioning of its Bay 13 at the Houston Terminal (OTH). The expansion project features nine new tanks, with a combined capacity of 204,000 barrels.
Bay 13 showcases OTH's commitment to offering flexible assets to its customers by building a combination of stainless steel and carbon steel tanks. Each tank has been meticulously engineered with positive pressure systems and full automation, underscoring Odfjell Terminals’ dedication to minimizing emissions and environmental impact.
The newly commissioned bay is specifically designed for the storage needs of specialty chemical products, further solidifying Odfjell Terminals’ position as a leading terminal operator in the industry. The state-of-the-art infrastructure ensures the safe and secure storage of a diverse range of chemicals, meeting or exceeding the stringent requirements of modern industrial and environmental standards.
