MV Papenburg moves Rhenus’ port crane between German Ports

Combi Lift Gmbh, member to the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Germany, has successfully moved Rhenus’ port crane from Wilhelmshaven to Nordenham onboard their MV Papenburg.  The main body of the crane drove on rails from the pier to Combi Lift’s deck carrier MV Papenburg. The crane’s boom and other auxiliaries have been lifted by shore cranes on board.  The discharge in Nordenham was handled by shore cranes of Steel Wind. The overall dimensions of the crane are 20,5 m x 12,5 m x 39,7 m (l x w x h) total weight 520 tonnes plus the jib 47 m x 3,5 m x 3,5 m (l x w x h) with a total weight 40 tonnes plus counterweights.
