International transportation and logistics specialist UTC Overseas, Inc. announced that Michael Kaemerow has joined the firm as Project Director based in Houston.
Kaemerow brings his extensive experience and valuable knowledge in international freight forwarding and project cargo logistics management to UTC. Following formal training in Germany, he began his career in ship brokering, supervising challenging heavy-lift and project cargo moves. With an assignment in the US, he held positions of increased responsibility with a focus on project freight forwarding and an EPC concentration. Managing complex assignments in remote locations, he has completed work on six continents.
During his career, Kaemerow has overseen the transport and logistics of products from some of the world’s largest EPCs involved in global infrastructure, mining, and petrochemical equipment, including Bechtel, Fluor, KBR, Halliburton, JGC, Technip, and McDermott, to name a few.
