Marine generator sets navigate to china

Bangkok, Thailand - Germany based freight forwarder, PrimoCargo GmbH has delivered units of a substantial order of marine generator sets used to provide power to all of the systems on a marine vessel. The complex delivery involved six marine generator sets and was executed on behalf of the world’s leading provider of large-bore diesel engines.
PrimoCargo arranged the whole project, procured the exact dimensions of the generators and as well as the additional modifications. The dimensions of each generator set was 8980 x 2430 x 3950 mm, each having a gross weight of 58 tons. Additional cargo was also included which consisted of 21 smaller cases with a total weight of 4.2 tons.
PrimoCargo covered the coordination of the shipment from the client’s production facility en route to the Port of Mumbai and then tracked the shipment as it arrived overseas.
“Pre-carriage by hydraulic trailers was executed from the client’s Indian production facility located in Aurangabad, India to Mumbai Port,” said Philipp Schopnie, Senior Sales Manager of PrimoCargo.
From Mumbai port, the cargo was loaded on MAFI trailers for a direct shipment via RoRo vessel en route to Shanghai Port.
