A Mammoet joint venture joins the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business
Edmonton, Alberta - M2, a joint venture between the Mikisew Group of Companies and Mammoet became a member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB). In efforts to continue to develop relationships with Indigenous business, Mammoet recognized that the CCAB could facilitate this need and be a solid foundation from which to build. As JP Gladu, President and CEO of the CCAB states “more and more Canadian businesses are becoming interested in the opportunities of working with Aboriginal peoples. The CCAB is strategically positioned to have an impact on facilitating positive and sustainable relations between the business sector and the Aboriginal business communities”.
The positioning of the CCAB supports Mammoet’s strategy in Western Canada to be active with Aboriginal business to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes supporting growth and development of our employees and community members.
“Being a member of the CCAB allows Mammoet to network and collaborate with other membered companies with the same goals. This focus will have a positive outcome to our aboriginal partner and other First Nation communities throughout Canada. ” - John Blanchette, Account Manager Indigenous Engagement, Mammoet Canada
