Magellan to start new Oklahoma condensate pipeline November 1
HOUSTON - Magellan Midstream Partners LP on Nov. 1 will start up a newly reactivated Oklahoma pipeline to move ultra-light oil to the U.S. crude futures hub in Cushing, a spokesman said on Wednesday.
The company reactivated a 135-mile (217 km) section of a crude pipeline to move condensate to Magellan’s Cushing storage facilities from Healdton, Oklahoma in the South Central Oklahoma Oil Province (SCOOP) area of the state, spokesman Bruce Heine said. The 75,000 barrels per day line will move 15,000 bpd initially, he said. (Reporting by Kristen Hays; Editing by Chris Reese)
