Maersk to start $700 mln drilling plan with Det Norske in Norway soon
Denmark’s A.P. Moller-Maersk said on Thursday it has taken delivery of a jack-up oil rig from a Singapore shipyard and will transport it to Norway where it will begin a 5-year $700 million programme with explorer Det Norske.
This is the second oil rig for ultra-harsh environments to enter Maersk Drilling’s fleet with another two being delivered in the next two years.
