Appointment of Ton van den Bosch latest addition to Ince & Co’s Shipping and International Trade practice group
Singapore, 8 February 2017 – The Singapore office of Ince & Co has announced the appointment of Ton van den Bosch as Counsel to advise on projects and maritime infrastructure.
Ton van den Bosch previously served as general counsel for an international FPSO company and, more recently, a major developer and operator of maritime terminals. His appointment marks the ongoing implementation of Ince & Co Singapore’s expansion plans.
Ton advises at all stages of the economic life-cycle of infrastructure projects in the energy and maritime sector, including project finance, asset finance, private mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions and complex commercial agreements. His experience includes advising on joint ventures, project structures (including BOT, BOOT, PPP and others), conducting legal due diligence, risk allocation and reviewing the ‘bankability’ of project agreements, financing arrangements and relevant security packages.
John Simpson, Managing Partner, Ince & Co Singapore, said:
“The addition of Ton to the Ince & Co Singapore team reflects our growth strategy for 2017 and our intention to add services that will most benefit our clients. Ton brings with him exceptional skill and impressive professional credentials in the critical field of maritime infrastructure and projects.
“At a time when we are seeing extensive investment in new and expanded port facilities and other forms of maritime infrastructure, not least through such initiatives as China’s ‘One Belt One Road’ (OBOR) programme, we are delighted that Ton has joined us and look forward to his contribution to our team.”
Ton’s expertise integrates all of the contractual aspects of infrastructure. He also has on-the-ground expertise in frontier and emerging markets in Asia and Africa, as well as a wealth of experience advising owners, lenders and contractors on a range of vessels, including LNG carriers and FPSOs. Educated in the Netherlands, Ton is qualified to practice in England and Wales and in the Netherlands.
