Express Global Logistics (EXG), member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India, had been awarded the transport of a height challenged package with ground clearance of 6.2mtrs inside the premises of Mumbai Port Trust, consisting of many temporary & permanent overhead obstruction.
The distance for this project delivery covered 530 km and started in Chakkan with six intermediate stations until final delivery point being Mumbai.
The two large HP Heaters had single dimensions of 14,4 x 4,7 x 5,6 meters with a weight of 41,4 tons each.
EXG engaged 10 and 8 hydraulic axles and 2 prime movers for this operation.
During the survey for this transport the specialists from EXG had found a new bridge was constructed on the usual route and hence they had to find an alternate route to deliver the cargo. The cargo was delivered without any damages and in record time.
