Engineered Transportation International (EnTrans), a premier manufacturer of tank trailers and transportation solutions, announced Heil Trailer has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Army for its Tactical Fuel Distribution System (TFDS).

Army Contracting Command, Detroit Arsenal, Michigan, awarded the 10-year, $588M hybrid (firm-fixed-price and fixed-price with economic adjustment) contract. The estimated completion date is March 21, 2030, with the option years of the contract to be completed through 2035.

Heil Trailer’s TFDS is a ground refueling petroleum trailer with aviation fueling capabilities. The TFDS units will be produced at the EnTrans manufacturing facility in Athens, Tennessee. This location has been fulfilling contracts for the U.S. military since 2001.
