Gold Star Consulting have successfully delivered equipment for an oil refinery from Italy to Russia. The project consisted of a total of 64 packages, with some of the main OOG units measuring 7.85 x 4.00 x 4.26m (42tn) and 6.98 x 4.00 x 4.06m (57tn). The entire shipment was moved from Chieti Scalo in Italy by multimodal transport (road / ferry / road) via Lubeck Port to Saint Petersburg Port in Russia. After the import customs clearance was completed, all units were delivered to the customer by road transport. Gold Star were responsible for the complete logistics solutions which included a load survey at the suppliers site, road transportation, permits, pilots and the reloading at ports.  Well-coordinated work and the strong experience of their European and Russian offices has proved that Gold Star Consulting is a reliable partner in project cargo transportation and logistics.
