Since 2019, Robin Quittard has been a consultant on strategy and development to fleetenergies – the leader in reducing energy costs and the environmental footprint in the road transport sector – and has now been appointed its Product and Operations Director. His role will be to facilitate access to fleetenergies technology by optimizing the use of data with the aim of making it possible for road transport to have a positive impact on the environment.
fleetenergies has developed a unique IoT technology for the collecting and analysis of data with the aim of reducing fuel consumption and, in so doing, the environmental footprint of truck fleets. Under the leadership of Robin Quittard, the company will speed up its transition from telematics to data science, will develop new products with high added value for the international market, and will also create interoperability with all those involved in data. The new Product and Operations Director will be backed up by the brand new Data Lake architecture so as to improve the company’s technology with regard to digital twins, data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Robin Quittard holds an MBA and has a background in the world of technology start-ups at international level. He has been a consultant on development strategy and implementation for the top management of a dozen or so European tech companies. He has also contributed to many high-tech projects concerning R&D institutes and private companies, as well as working for Bpifrance on the launch of a program to speed up the development of companies with a high growth rate. He honed his managerial skills in the United States where, for seven years, he helped several European companies to develop.
“Robin Quittard has already been working with fleetenergies for three years. Therefore he is very familiar with our technology and shares our vision of the next stages of our development.
