Steder Group B.V., member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for The Netherlands, arranged for a load out for their 4th shipment of a Knuckle Boom Crane, weight 268 ton.
The shipment began at shipper’s premises in the northern city of Drachten in The Netherlands. Via the Dutch inner waterways Steder Group arranged the shipment, loaded onto a barge, to the port of Rotterdam. There it was transshipped from barge on a SAL heavylift vessel for destination to a shipyard in Dalian, China.
Whats this about?
It is the “uncontained” shipments that draw a lifetime allegiance of purveyors of the business. As one MPV (Multi Purpose Vessel) analyst bluntly said as an aside, “Boxes are boring.”
