Delta Maritime, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Greece, announced the successful special transport from Wels-Austria to Alexandroupolis-Greece. Two Tatra 8x8 pipe carriers weighed 16.5tns each with dimensions of 10,3x2,85x2,43m and two Liebherr 944 excavators weighed 36.5tons each with dimensions of 11,9x3,5x3,2m, accompanied by their accessories.  The excavators Liebherr 944 and the pipe carriers Tatra 8x8 were loaded on special certified HOLLEMAN trailers. The accessories were transported by standard taut-liners. With a transit time of 6 days and smooth discharging operations upon trucks arrival, Delta Maritime together with all parties ensured the best results.
