Darka (PCN members in Sudan and South Sudan) have successfully executed the transportation, export customs clearance, loading, vessel handling and stevedoring for one of the United Nations peace keeping forces. The cargo consisted of 233 pieces of equipment and breakbulk cargo, at a total weight of 8,500frt, and was loaded in 4 different locations; Kutum, Malha, Mellit and El Fasher to be transported to Port Sudan for export to South Africa. The overall distance from the loading points to port was approximately 2,500km and Darka successfully delivered all the cargo alongside the vessel safely and on time.
