Intradco Global and Sixth Sense travel services have worked in partnership to deliver 12 bulls from Mexico to China ahead of the launch the new series of the Intervilles Games – a TV spectacular dubbed the biggest game show in the world.
The Toro Bravo bulls were flown from Mexico City (MEX) to Los Angeles (LAX) on an AeroUnion A300B4-200F aircraft, before being transferred to a China Southern Airlines B777-400F for the onward flight to Guangzhou (CAN).
With the help of their cargo airline partners, Intradco arranged for the aircraft to be configured to accommodate the customised pens as well as two professional attendants who accompanied the animals on both flights and during the transit period to ensure their wellbeing.
The Intervilles Games (城市 之间 in China) was first launched in France in 1962 and pitches teams from different nations against each other in a number of fun challenges – including a padded-suit showdown with the famous bulls which take centre-stage in the show.
The family-friendly production – expected to be viewed by an audience of millions - will be filmed on the tourism island of Hainan and screened nationally in China on CCTV-5.
Tom Lamb, animal transport specialist at Intradco Global, said:
“We’re pleased to have successfully delivered these extraordinary TV celebrities to their new home in China. The operation involved careful planning over a period of months – including full adherence to quarantine requirements and live animal transport regulations in Mexico, US and China.”
He adds:
“Together with Sixth Sense we would also like to thank all of the partner companies involved in making the project a success – including AeroUnion and China Southern Airlines. As always, the safe transportation and wellbeing of the animals was made the absolute priority at all times.”
