A new government-backed event is launching to position Saudi Arabia as the regional hub for heavy machinery innovation.
The inaugural Heavy Equipment Connect Forum & Expo 2026 (HEC) takes place February 2–4, 2026 at Dhahran Expo in Dammam and represents the Kingdom’s largest exhibition dedicated to heavy machinery and construction equipment. Under the patronage of Saudi Arabia’s National Industrial Development Center (NIDC), the event aligns with the Kingdom’s $1 trillion industrial transformation under Vision 2030.
Dubai-based MYCRANE has been appointed Digital Innovation Partner and will contribute to event strategy and attendee experience, reflecting a shared commitment to advance Saudi Arabia’s heavy equipment sector through technology and smart industrial solutions.

“We’re honored to be working side-by-side with Heavy Equipment Connect, a government-backed platform advancing Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions,” said Andrei Geikalo, MYCRANE founder and CEO of the global platform for crane rental and purchase.
“Our appointment as Digital Innovation Partner demonstrates how technology is no longer optional — it’s the foundation for the future of the heavy equipment industry. Together, we’ll deliver an experience that merges innovation, connectivity and opportunity.”
As Digital Innovation Partner, MYCRANE is designing smart registration and matchmaking systems that will help OEMs, contractors and suppliers connect more effectively, furthering the Kingdom’s goal of building a globally competitive industrial base. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the MYCRANE team, explore its online platform, and learn how digital tools are reshaping heavy equipment procurement worldwide.
The three-day event will feature a 323,000-square-foot outdoor exhibition showcasing large-scale machinery demonstrations, a 108,000-square-foot indoor exhibition hall for global OEMs and distributors, and a 54,000-square-foot live demo zone. Confirmed exhibitors include MYCRANE, Zahid Group, SANY, Saudi Diesel, Zoomlion, WOLFFKRAN, and XCMG, among others.
MYCRANE’s crane rental platform allows customers to submit details of their lifting requirements to receive personalized quotes from registered asset owners. Users can request crawler, mobile or tower cranes with capacity up to 4,000 tonnes without relying on manual processes like calling multiple rental companies. Registration is free for both users and crane rental companies.
In August 2025, MYCRANE Trading, a newly established crane sales, leasing and maintenance services provider based in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, announced the successful closing of a $50 million investment deal with a DIFC-based investment holding company. In partnership with MYCRANE’s online platform, MYCRANE Trading integrates physical inventory with digital reach to deliver seamless access to sales and rentals in the Gulf Region.
“With MYCRANE Trading as a key partner, we can now respond directly to demand by instantly connecting sellers with the rental platform’s thousands of fleet-owning users, many of whom have urgent purchase needs,” Geikalo said.
MYCRANE Trading serves customers worldwide, with particular focus on the Middle East, Africa, CIS and Asia, providing competitive and transparent equipment sales supported by expert sourcing, rigorous checks and dedicated customer service.
