On February 13, 2025, 3P Logistics (3PL) Industrial Projects successfully began the transportation of oversized wind turbine components for Vestas in Denmark. This marks the beginning of a regular logistics operation, further solidifying 3PL’s position as a key player in industrial transportation.

A Strategic Milestone for 3PL

In January 2025, 3PL Industrial Projects secured a long-term contract to transport wind turbine parts—measuring approximately 6 meters in width—from Vietnam to Vestas’ facility in Lindø Munkebo, Denmark. This complex operation involves multiple logistical challenges, including road transportation from Aarhus port, covering a distance of 170 kilometers, exclusively during nighttime hours.

The first shipment was successfully loaded on February 12 and delivered the following day, February 13. Due to the width of the cargo, each truck required an escort of 3 pilot cars, in compliance with Danish transportation regulations. This operation is set to continue, with additional shipments scheduled to arrive in the spring of 2025.

Leadership and Expertise

Ilya Goncharov, Head of Industrial Projects at 3PL, is responsible for overseeing this critical transportation project. Reflecting on the success of the initial deliveries, Goncharov emphasized the importance of precision planning and execution in handling oversized cargo.

“This project demonstrates our ability to manage complex industrial logistics with efficiency and reliability. Coordinating international imports, road transportation, and regulatory compliance requires seamless teamwork, and I’m proud of our team’s dedication to delivering excellence for Vestas,” said Goncharov.

Future Shipments and Continued Success

The successful execution of this project highlights 3PL Industrial Projects’ capability in handling large-scale industrial transportation. With additional shipments arriving in the spring, the company continues to strengthen its reputation as a trusted logistics partner for the renewable energy sector.
